The present Marine Technologies DP manual is intended for use as an aid to the experienced operators, who have quite a good understanding of basic dynamic positioning principles, theory and general operation. Should this not be the case, then the operator shall first attend the appropriate Marine Technologies Basic DP course.
This equipment to which this manual applies must only be used in the applications for which it has been designed. Improper use, repair, maintenance or lack of them may potentially lead to the injuries or damage to equipment/software, property of other people and of personnel involved in the work with or around this equipment.
