The present Marine Technologies DP manual is intended for use as an aid to the experienced operators, who have quite a good understanding of basic dynamic positioning principles, theory and general operation. Should this not be the case, then the operator shall first attend the appropriate Marine Technologies Basic DP course.
This equipment to which this manual applies must only be used in the applications for which it has been designed.
