The official China Register rules to be applied during the qualification and certification of the personnel engaged in the nondestructive evaluation and testing. The content of the rulebook has been arranged in six major chapters. The first chapter contains general information on the subject and addresses the purpose and application of the document together with the definitions and abbreviations used within the document.
The second chapter is dealing with the certification and responsibilities, covering the general requirements, while the third chapter is covering the different qualification levels and technical requirements including the responsibilities for each of the levels. The chapter dealing with the eligibility covers the training experience of the personnel, industrial and education experience and health and vision requirements.
The last two chapters of the publication are dealing with the qualification examination and certification matters. There are two appendices supplementing the main part of the present rulebook and providing additional information on application of the qualification and structured credit system for the Level Three...
