This is the fifth edition of one of the most popular and valuable publications on pipelines. The book has been very well met by the students and engineers in different countries of the world. It can serve as an excellent standard resource to be used by anyone involved in the activities implying design, construction and maintenance of the piping, including shipboard piping in the hull systems.
The author of the publication has prepared a truly excellent compilation of the practical shortcuts for the piping designers and engineers – there are hundreds of them. In addition, there are numerous formulas and correlations, instructions, “how-to” methods explained. The present edition of the publication features newly introduced conversion tables as well as the material on sizing plates.
Apart from that, the author included some new information on the sizing of the relief valves commonly applied in piping systems, sizing pigs, gas volume conversion data etc. There are also many tables and data charts supplementing the main contents of the volume, making it even more useful for the practicing engineers who will be happy to have all of that info readily available at all times when performing job.
