This interactive MS Windows-based software contains the information and calculation system which has been developed by GL and officially released by this classification society in 2012.

The program will provide users with easy access to all GL publications including rules and guides, and will allow for easy navigation through the document system.

The users will have a possibility to search for the information and view it in several ways. Though the release is fairly old, we would still recommend it to the persons willing to get a general idea of the rules, guides and other regulatory documents commonly released by the class societies.

Even though the rules and guides are updated on a regular basis, their fundamental content is mainly remain unchanged.

This practically useful application has been developed and officially released by the LR (Lloyd's Register) Group, one of the world leaders; it presents the so-called Marine Fire Safety Pocket Checklist listing thirty-two important items representing the areas where the fire safety-related deficiencies are commonly found; apart of that, the checklist contains thirty certificates plus some other documents that shall be carried on board, as well as fifteen helpful practical tips provided in order to help crew members ensure that their vessel is in full compliance with the applicable SOLAS requirements.

The above stated checklist has been organised in a manner convenient for use - by distinct vessel area, making individual crew members able to take responsibility for the particular area of the vessel they are in charge of. The app lets you view all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements, save checklist, add images and notes, and do other operations with the checklists (check-off, forward by email etc.).

We would definitely recommend this app for installation on the devices of all crew members even if they are not directly involved in preparation of the vessel for the class of port state inspections - this is an excellent tool to maintain the fire safety arrangements in due order.

This pack contains a latest release of the "Rules for Classification of Ships" issued by Det Norske Vertitas Class Society, dated this year. The regulatory documents concerning ships classification have been presented in pdf format with the index, which allows switching between rules and search within the publications.

No need for even installation. Just open the zip archive file and you will be able to easily navigate from there. The content of this archive will definitely be of great practical use for the people dealing with classification surveys, for instance with preparation of the vessel to the forthcoming annual or five-yearly surveys, i.e. all people onboard willing to be absolutely sure that their vessel is in full compliance with all requirements of the class society. The navigation is very user-friendly enabling you to find all required information quickly.

This is the Acrobat document containing the official DNV "Rules for Classification of High Speed, Light Craft and Naval Surface Craft". Note that the document is fully searchable and such feature makes it even more usable. There is absolutely no need to install anything or deal with suspicious file extensions, just unzip this archive and it will automatically be ready for use.

This is the official release, no need for activation. This is the latest edition, dated July 2014. The three major sections are General, Current rule chapters, and Systematic index. At the end part of this document, several changes effected to the content of the rules have been provided. In addition, the pack contains documentation related to the DNV Plan Approval, namely Documentation Requirements and Types.
