The main purpose of the research conducted by the author of this book was to provide readers with proper identification and clear description of the project fire risks that are commonly present in the cruise ship industry of today. The attempt was also made to duly assess the size of the associated risks and explicate the potential response. The author has applied the theoretical approach basing on the project management as well as the general management of the fire risks, supplemented by the specific ship building literature.
