This video is devoted to one of the most effective of the welding processes, namely oxy-acetylene welding process. When performing an oxy-acetylene welding, a special combination of oxygen and acetylene gases is used to provide a flame of very high temperature. The present introductory film is intended to demonstrate the fundamental welding techniques and will be useful for newbie welders and professionals willing to improve their skills.
Note that there are other instructional video films available here such as the films addressing the arc welding, metal inert gas (MIG) welding, flux core arc welding (FCAW), TIG welding, gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and hybrid laser-arc welding, and we highly recommend all persons engaged in design of welding connections and practicing welders as well as the students and trainees to download them all and have as a readily available set of visual training materials supplementing their theoretical knowledge.
